The destruction of Lordaeron left survivors desperate to resist the Scourge. The Scarlet Crusade gathered fighters from the remnants of the Silver Hand, but its determination hardened into suspicion of anyone outside its ranks.

Behind its holy cause stood a hidden manipulator: Balnazzar, possessing Saidan Dathrohan. His schemes drew Alexandros Mograine and Ashbringer into a betrayal that scarred the order’s history. The crusaders fought the undead while a demon helped direct their war.
