The dwarves of Khaz Modan trace their ancestry to beings of living stone.
The dwarves descend from the earthen, creations of the titans. Their city of Ironforge was carved into the mountains of Khaz Modan. Today its three great clans share power through the Council of Three Hammers, bringing different traditions into an uneasy but enduring partnership.
