The road to Karazhan, where Medivh’s legacy still haunts the land.
Deadwind Pass links Duskwood with the Swamp of Sorrows. Its dead trees and empty settlements surround Karazhan, the tower where Medivh lived. The landscape carries the shadow of a Guardian whose possession by Sargeras helped bring catastrophe to Azeroth.
Medivh’s death did not restore the tower to ordinary life. Karazhan makes the pass more than a route between provinces: it is a surviving reminder of the magical disaster behind the First War.
